One of the major issues many people have with psychics are the ones who are not quite as ethical as we expect.  The biggest scam are the ones who see that you have been cursed by someone and conveniently they can fix that for an additional charge!  I recently heard a story where an elderly woman spent almost all of her savings trying to remove a curse that a particular psychic was able to see.  At the end of the day, the lady had spent a huge amount of money and nothing had really changed.

I personally recently had a reading where the reader said that my energy was low and that for an additional charge, she could set it straight.  I have no doubt that my energy was off kilter due to the crazy things life has been throwing at me lately, but spending more money with this “healer” was not going to fix things.  What I really needed was a long nap (and maybe even a glass of wine).

Do not take anything that any reader, healer, psychic, counselor tells you as 100% truth.  Consider what they are telling you and double check it with your own intuition.  Don’t take anything I say as completely accurate. I would not intentionally lead you astray, but I am just learning to trust my intuition myself.  I will be the first to tell you to double check my accuracy.

 

For many years I have heard of the Akashic records and have been intrigued by them.  Recently, I saw that there were going to be local classes offered about how to read one’s Akashic Records.  The timing is not right for me to take the class at the moment, but I did pick up the book the course is based upon.

The course is based upon the book How to Read the Akashic Records:  Accessing the Archive of the Soul and It’s Journey by Linda Howe.  This book is a relatively quick read and it includes a step-by-step process for accessing the Akashic Records.  I will say that following the steps, I did get some results, but I would not dare call myself a reader of the Akashic Records (Yet!).

What are the Akashic Records?   The Akashic Records are an invisible archive where everything about everyone at every time and all the possibilities are stored (my over simplified definition).  In the Akashic records, one may access past lives, future lives, and spirit lives in between.  The records are especially useful for finding repeating patterns in your lives and identifying soul contracts and lessons you have planned to learn in a particular lifetime.

Since my access to the records wasn’t really producing results, I decided to book a session with an Akashic record reader.  I also later have had two more readings at “healing fairs”.  Without going into specific details, these readings have been very useful.  I have been going through some very difficult times and some of the advice given by the first reader in particular helped me get moving on a much more positive path.  She gave me some particular advice about a relationship that I had some questions about and since that discussion I have been able to open my eyes to other possibilities and not obsess over that particular person.  I have also had a physical pain that seems to flare up with stress.  She suggested an energy healing session which I have also attended and will discuss later (also very helpful).

The other readings I had looked more at some of my past lives and some of the patterns I keep falling into.  We looked at some of my key relationships and the issues that have been part of them for more than just this lifetime.  I’m still a little unsure about some of that, but I can feel a tingling in me when she said some of the things.  Like an excitement that I was finally “remembering” something.

After those sessions, I wrote about them in my journal with the records open and more information and details came out in my writing.  I’m still not sure about everything, but I will say I made a major career move based upon the advice in my records and I KNOW that I’m on the right path.  It is a good move any way I look at it and I’m still surprised that I hadn’t seen it myself before.
